This paper was reviewed published research papers regarding to occupational stress
including job holder's stress related to workplace and so on. For the convenience of
discussion. reviewed papers were categorized by studies according to working environment,
studies about time shifting in duty, studies about changes in job. studies of individual
personality and role ambiguity, studies of factors out of occupation, studies about relationship
between occupational stress and onset of illness. workaholic, studies for strategy and
management of occupational stress.
These studies indicated various contributing factors to develop occupational stress and
correlations between job stress and onset of illness.
Also the author emphasized medical attention and considerable reevaluation whenever
encountering job holder's vague somatic complaints because of its possiblity progressed to
serious mental and physical diseases.
